The colored version of the Halloween art is now available as a wallpaper.  Getting wallpapers is easy, if you donate ANYTHING or make any purchase at the online store, you get access to all the wallpapers.  At the end of the transaction, a password pops up, and you can use that to enter the wallpaper gallery.  Simple! ^^  The wallpaper version is 1600 x 1200, and looks a lot better than the posted version here.  It’s also a print, but it’s not in the store yet.  I’ll have some at Nekocon, but if you just can’t wait, just email me. ^^ I’ll make sure you get one.  Thank you guys for all the help!  I hope you enjoy the art.  Story resumes after Neko.  I needed to get some more art done, and I’ve been meaning to do a Halloween print for a while.  Yay for color!

@______@  So much going on!  I’ve been meaning to get some art out of my system for a while now, and with all the cons, this seemed like a good time.  I’m going to make some changes around the site over the next month or so.  Some of the sections have been neglected, like the convention schedule.  We’ve needed a good wallpaper for way too long, too, so this Halloween piece is getting color now and going up in the donation section at a higher resolution.  I also plan to remove the art from the archives soon, so look for those art pieces in the gallery.  I may add another gallery for past incentive art pieces too.  Right now the only way to see them is to vote, and once a new one goes up, the old ones go away.  If you visit PL from a webcomic list that shows when I update, this may throw you off a week or so, since a lot of the lists get confused by archive changes.  Hang in there, I’m doing my best to keep the updates coming and still get my other work (book, freelance, etc) done on time.

I’m always experimenting and messing around with new ways to get different color effects. Hope you like.

The last comic was fun to ink.  The pencils took forever, though.  I had the hardest time figuring out how I wanted the layout to look and what angles to use.  Must have thrown out a dozen ideas.  Sometimes, it’s just tough to get inspired, and you need to take a step back.  I spent some time this week finishing up Avatar to get into creative mode.  Totaly worked.

I can’t believe how good Avatar is!   You just don’t see a lot of American shows like it. The ending was so good, too!  I’m sad it’s done, but wow!  If you haven’t checked it out yet, go grab the first box set and get addicted now!  It’s one of those shows that you just want to keep watching one more episode!

Jekka and Toshi are fun. I hope you’re enjoying the story. A lot of people had been wondering about Jekka. =) I’ll get back to my old art syle, and probably add tones to a lot of these once I’m not juggling so much. Certainly, the book will be entirely toned.

It’s nice to focus on Jekka again in the comic.  All the story arcs are drawing closer together and new characters are appearing as old ones develop.  This should be a fun chapter.  Sorry for cutting out tones lately, but this way I can focus on getting updates done on time and getting a book out for you.  I’ll make it up to you. ^^

Still working like crazy to get comics and everything else done with Anime USA fast approaching. Make sure to go pre-reg now if you haven’t.  You’ve got till September 30th!  See you there!

  Trying to finish the book on time while writing comics and paying bills. ^^; The art quality is suffering a little, but right now I want to keep the update schedule perfect.  I can always go back and add tones and touch uops when there is time.  The book needs to look it’s best.  Told ya Jekka would be back. =)

I still owe you a list of cool people from the summer cons.

  Todays update was fun with colored sharpies and colored pencils.  I did some hand colored stuff at Otakon and felt like doing some more.  A nice change from CG. =)

Chapter 3 starts next.  Going to be a little crazy for me, I’m working on getting the Paradox Lost book done by october, but it means re-writing a lot of early stuff.  For that reason, I’m changing up the book.  The Paradox Lost manga will be the same story and characters, but a different version more suited for manga.  Web comics are a little different in that each page needs to stand on it’s own and complete a small story.  It’s almost like single page chapters.  You’re a bit more restricted since you can’t end a page halfway through a conversation.  Needless to say, I have a lot of pages to draw.  And the PL book isn’t my only project, but I’ll make more announcements later.

If you’re thinking about picking up a print or shirt, this is the time to do it!  I’m going to be swamped, and keeping these updates regular is going to depend on my being able to pay the bills.  Well, back to it!

And pretty darn beat.  I’ll have a lot of links to post soon. =)  Hope you’re enjoying comics.
