Working on the site a little, sorry if
things go weird a bit today!
Mother and ChildPencils
Date: 10/17/07
This one is pretty large, about 18x24, a commission from two separate references that I put into one. It was a lot of fun to do, so I was pretty bummed out when a hammer or something got dropped on it. (See the mark on the baby’s eye?)
Running HorsePencils
Date: 10/17/07
This was another fairly large one, 24"X18-ish. This was actually just practice, but it was a lot of fun. I'll eventually do a series of horses.
PuppyPencils
Date: 12/11/06
Another pencil commission. The puppy was actually smaller than the drawing! ^^;;
DrybonesOil
Date: 10/17/07
This was less a painting and more a drawing. It was an assignment to use a bit of oil in a paint cap (burnt umber or something for this one), and no thinner. Then, with a dry brush, we sketched our subject. I did a few like this, they had a cool, antique look. This was about 24"X36".
Alas...Inks
Date: 10/17/07
This was a piece I did with crow quill pen and colored inks. I had as much fun putting the props together as I did painting them. I stuck a bunch of cheesy plastic sewing gems on a gold cardboard rim from a cookie container, and set it on a plaster skull like a crown. It was another art assignment.
Kingdom of VerditeCG Image
Date: 10/17/07
I'm a geek who loves D&D. I used to get very visual with my games, so I'd come up with a lot of props, like history outlines and maps.
One game I ran was based out of a series of RPGs for the Playstation called King's Field. This was a map from the second game. I actually put together a PS1 game in RPG Maker that fell between the first and second games. Maybe one of these days I'll upload it.
